Canadian crooner to inaugurate major new Guadalajara venue

Grammy-winning superstar Michael Bublé will officially open Guadalajara’s new Coliseo GNP Seguros performance arena on Tuesday, September 22, 9 p.m. The Canadian crooner steps in to replace Rod Stewart, who canceled his appearance due to health reasons.

6The Coliseo has been transformed from the iconic Tres de Marzo stadium, which for decades served as the home of the Tecos (Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara) professional soccer team. Now reimagined as a world-class entertainment venue, the venue strengthens Guadalajara’s position as one of the premier destinations for live shows in Latin America.

Bublé has won five Grammys, 15 Juno Awards, and has over 75 million albums sold worldwide. His repertoire includes a blend of pop, jazz, and Great American Songbook classics.
