You are invited to attend our Christian Science Testimony Meetings every first and third Wednesday of the month at noon at Cinco de Mayo 3, in Ajijic. The one-hour meeting begins with readings from the Bible and the Christian Science textbook by Mary Baker Eddy, followed by testimonies of spiritual healing that have resulted from the study and practice of Christian Science. The Lakeside Garden Guild celebrates the bounty of Mother Nature and the creative talents of its members at the Festival of Flowers, an annual display of floral arrangements scheduled for Friday, January 30, 2 to 5 p.m.
When Lila Kawananankoa founded Lakeside Friends of the Animals in 1983, her work began with helping animals one at a time, in an era when dead and injured animals were a common sight on local streets.
In a major step forward for dementia support in the region, Lakeside DayBreak has launched the Memory Neighborhood project — a non-profit initiative dedicated to building a new model of dementia care that is compassionate, culturally inclusive and powered by the community itself.

We often assume that sincerity alone is enough, confusing spontaneity with spiritual depth. This Sunday, as part of our worship series, Pastor Carolyn will explore why prayer belongs at the heart of corporate worship and how the Bible teaches us to pray together well. Drawing from Nehemiah 9, we’ll see how thoughtful, Scripture-shaped prayer forms us, unites us, and deepens our worship of God. Join us as we rediscover prayer that is intentional, biblical, and shared.
