At last! Three years after its opening, Mexico City’s second airport has an essential direct rail connection to the capital’s central zone.
The federal government is hoping the new link will persuade more airlines to shift flights to the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA) — the shiny new facility located northeast of the capital in Zumpango, State of Mexico — from the centrally located but saturated Mexico City International Airport (AICM).
