Top-notch equestrians from Mexico and the United States are saddling up to compete in the 70th Campeonato Nacional Charro, to be held Monday, October 27 through Sunday, November 16 at the Rancho Santa María arena in Tlajomulco de Zuñiga.
More than 3,000 runners are expected to take to the streets of Guadalajara this Sunday to compete in the 30th edition of the city’s marathon. The Charros de Jalisco dropped their Liga Mexicana del Pacifico opener to Aguilas de Mexicali by a score of 8-1.
Mexicali scored one run in the first inning, single runs in the 3rd and 4th innings and put the game away on a three-run home run by Luke Montz in the top of the 5th.
