Metro air quality dips in 2023

The air quality in the Guadalajara metropolitan area has worsened during 2023, with only 134 days of “good air quality” registered between January 1 and November 30, according to the state government’s air monitoring network (Mide).

2023 ended tragically for a police officer and a security guard who were shot to death by an unknown assailant on the evening of December 31 on Avenida Patria, in the vicinity of the Central Camionera Nueva (new Bus Station) in Tonala.
