Passengers on Mexican discount airline Interjet were hit by a slew of cancellations between July 29 and 31, disrupting the travel plans of almost 10,000 passengers. In total 46 flights were cancelled, while 20 others suffered long delays.

As reported in last week’s edition, Mexico is changing its telephone dialing system, with all numbers dialed within the country, from both land lines and cellphones, to contain ten digits as of August 3. This means the prefixes 01, 044 and 045 will no longer be necessary.
