Maestros del Arte fair brings top craftsmen to our doorstep

Outstanding artisans coming from far flung corners of Mexico will showcase a cornucopia of high-quality handicrafts and folk art at the 18th annual Feria Maestros del Arte, scheduled Friday, November 8 through Sunday, November 10 at Chapala’s Club de Yates, located at the east end of Paseo Ramón Corona.

Barbie fashions put in the spotlight

“Las muñecas de Gennytzin,” a private collection of 101 Barbie dolls donning one-of-a-kind costumes, will be showcased in an exhibit opening Saturday, October 5, 5 p.m., at Chapala’s Centro Cultural Antigua Presidencia (CCAP) gallery, Avenida Madero at Hidalgo.
